THE ENTRANCE
M: I was actually
surprised when we got to the entrance because it was a lot
nicer than I expected.
As soon as we entered the park we
were eager to go on rides. The
first ride we went on was the carrousel.
T: The carrousel even though it was super cute how they had Lego horses they
were extremely uncomfortable from being so boxy.
M: The horses on the
carrousel were actually Lego horses. The
horses were weird to sit on because they were to wide. It felt like you were
straddling a 400 pound man. Which was weird because this is a park for kids.
M: After that we went into the medieval
part of the park and rode the roller coaster the dragon.
M: When we got off that ride it put us
into a gift shop where I got one of those pressed pennies.
T: Merlin’s
Challenge was my favorite ride. It spun really fast and stuff.
M: I liked Merlin’s
challenge/quest/adventure because it’s like one of those rides at the fair that
just spins and it coasts like $3 per ride.
M: Then after we went one of those rides
where you shoot targets on the walls and compete with your partner(just an FYI
if you’re sitting in the left seat, YOU WILL WIN. It’s been proven.)
T: This was a
fun laser ride as long as you aren’t competitive because if you sit on the left
you are going to win. At the very end of
this ride, wait for the second flash so you can pose for your picture like we
did. ;) Multiple times….
M: We walked around for a bit then came
across a wooden coaster. Which I assumed wouldn’t be like Gwazi at Busch
Gardens(a theme park in our city). But, nope. It was. Tara did NOT enjoy this
ride. Neither did I, but she really didn’t like it.
M: We went to
the Lego city area several times, but it was most beautiful at night.
M: We saw the
firefighter show.
M: Put the wet stuff on the hot stuff
M: After that show we went and got food
at the Panini place. When we were done eating we went back
to a lot of our favorite attractions and a couple new rides.

OUR OPINIONS OF LEGOLAND
T: The park was
a lot better than I expected. I was
expecting it to be boring looking but it was actually very well done. It is really cool looking in person and it
was fun for the day. The lines also were not that bad, I’m used to Disney and
them tricking you into thinking you’re almost done and there really is another
room to the line. However I don’t think I could ever purchase an annual pass
because it is only something you can really do once and still have fun. I don’t really think it was really worth the
$60 I paid for my adult pass because they don’t have much for people who are 19
and 20. If you have a child under 10
however, I strongly suggest it because they will have a blast.
M: Everything
wasn’t as pointy as I expected it to be. For some reason I had this image of
everything being made out of sharp little Lego pieces. Since we’re Florida
residents tickets were cheaper than normal. Online tickets were around
$80(places like Wendy’s and Chick-Fil-A were giving out free child admission
with adult ticket purchase coupons ) we got our tickets at Publix for about
$60. I think tickets should have been at most 50(my parents paid for my ticket
because my brother wanted to go here for his birthday). The experience at the
park was good, but it’d be more fun if we were under 13 and could go on the go
karts… There is also a water park
attached to this park which we did not go to. It was weird because you had to
purchase the ticket for the LegoLand park and for an additional $20 or so you
could go to the water park. Overall I liked Lego Land but I don’t think I’d go
again, unless, it was free, again.
